A typical camp session starts with the instructor introducing the day's project and teaching new concepts. Students then work hands-on building robots, writing code, or creating designs depending on the topic. The session includes team challenges and creative problem-solving activities. At the end, campers share what they built. Many projects go home with the student. It is a fun, fast-paced learning experience from start to finish.
What should my child bring to camp?
Bring a labeled water bottle, a snack (for half-day camps), or a packed lunch (for full-day camps). For coding or digital camps, send a USB drive with at least 2 GB so your child can save their work and continue at home. All project materials, equipment, and technology are provided by Tech Academy. Your child does not need to bring a laptop or any supplies.

Does my child get to keep what they build?
Yes! For many camps, students take home the projects they create, whether it is a coded game, a 3D-printed object, or a creative design. For camps using shared equipment like robots, students keep any digital work they create and take home the skills and experience they gained.
