Summer Tech Camp for Kids & Teens
Step into the director’s chair and bring your imagination to life! In this exciting camp, students will learn film editing basics and unlock the secrets of Hollywood-style visual effects. From shooting glowing Star Wars lightsabers to casting Harry Potter–style spell blasts, you’ll create blockbuster moments right on your screen. Learn to add explosions, laser beams, and other jaw-dropping effects to your own films. Bring a USB drive (at least 8 GB) to save your video on the last day.

We offer research-proven technology and science summer day camps for kids and teens ages 3-14. We believe learning should be fun, innovative, challenging and hands-on. Computer Explorers has over 200 camps throughout Minnesota each summer. We offer 30 different classes/camp in Video Game Design, Programming, Legos, Robotics, Engineering, and Film Making. We have been offering computer technology camps and classes in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and 30 years nationally.
