Super Mario 3D Printing & Coding
Design a power-up, then put Mario-style action on screen! Students will use Makers Empire, a 3D design app for young learners, to create power-ups, question blocks, and coins. It’s the fun of imagining Mario-style action and then making a little piece of that world to keep. While their designs print, they’ll use Scratch to code Mario-style games. Campers will explore how shapes fit together and how coding makes a game work. Each student will take home two small 3D-printed creations. Students should have basic reading skills. Bring a snack and drink each day, plus a USB drive on the last day to save your projects. Super Mario is a trademark of Nintendo of America Inc. This camp is not affiliated with them.
