Video Game Creation: Nintendo Characters
Create your own customized Video Game using Nintendo Characters. Program you characters move and interact with one another. Students will learn to change backgrounds, add audio effects, create a pong game, and other games. Working in pairs, students will create a dynamic video animation game using Scratch, the innovative programming language created just for students by the MIT Media Lab. The first part of each class will be instructor led; with the time remaining students will have the opportunity customize their own game animation. Student will be able to use different Nintendo characters sprites such as: Pokemon, Super Mario Brother, Lego Star Wars, Sonic the Hedgehog to create their video game animations.
