Elementary Engineering & Motors

Unlock your inner Engineer! Join us as we explore, investigate & solve problems while we learn about the building blocks of mechanical engineering. This exciting engineering class combines LEGO Education & LEGO Technic materials to explore machines by building realistic models. Students working in pairs will enjoy hand-on activities with high emphasis on building techniques will developing an understanding of mechanical principles of pulleys, levers, gears, and wheels. Students will be encouraged to apply what they learn and come up with creative solutions to engineering challenges. Possible motorized and non-motorized action packed models include: conveyor belt, cranes, curtains, wipers, drumming machine, pliers, fly wheel car, roller conveyor, land yacht, rubberband racer, merry-go-round, drawbridge and more.
